"As Várias Pontas de uma Estrela"

“As Várias Pontas de uma Estrela” is Gal Costa’s new show. To celebrate 56 years of recording career, the singer focuses on the relationship between her vast and rich repertoire, full of hits, and the monumental work of Milton Nascimento.
This show will present songs by the mineiro (from Minas Gerais) author, already recorded by Gal, and classics from the singer’s repertoire composed by names such as Chico Buarque, Caetano Veloso, Dorival Caymmi and Tom Jobim.
The line-up also includes surprises and B sides from Gal Costa’s discography, which began in 1965 with the record “Maria da Graça”. The show is directed by Marcus Preto.
During the pandemic, Gal experimented with the format of piano, bass and drums, exchanging the guitar accompaniment for the piano. The band is formed by Fábio Sá (electric and acoustic bass), André Lima (keyboards) and Victor Cabral (drums and percussion).
