Closing concert of the 17th edition of the National Youth Orchestra Festival / Figueira da Foz
What would the Closing Concert of the ONJ Festival / Figueira da Foz be if it wasn’t a symphonic premiere?
Challenged by Maestro Cristiano Silva (artistic director and conductor of the symphonic projects UHF, Kátia Guerreiro, Queen Symphony, Stand Up Symphony, Dios Salve la Reina and The Greatest Queen Symphonic), the Fingertips are the big guests at the 17th edition of this festival.
The Fingertips are a Portuguese pop/rock band formed in 2002. They released their debut album ‘All “Bout Smoke” n Mirrors’ in 2003, reaching number one on the radio with the first single ‘Melancholic Ballad’. This album also includes ‘Picture Of My Own’, included in the soundtrack of a well-known TV advert, and ‘How Do You Know Me’. ‘Catharsis’ is the second album released in 2006, with the singles ‘You’re Gone’, ‘Cause to Love You’ (number 1 on airplay radio) and ‘Move Faster’. In 2009, the Fingertips released ‘Magic Heart EP’ and the single ‘Do It (Magic Colours)’, which reached #1 on radio and #1 on iTunes.
