Synopsis: Back from the Crusades, a knight finds his country spiritually and physically devastated. With his faith shaken and the meaning of life taking over his thoughts, he is approached by a strange and enigmatic character: Death. Ready to take the man with him, Death is challenged to a game of chess, the outcome of which will dictate the knight’s fate.
