Synopsis: Ubu, instigated by his wife, murders King Wenceslas and usurps the throne of Poland. Intoxicated by power, this grotesque and cowardly character exercises his reign in an absurd and cruel way, leading the country to ruin.
‘Ubu’ is a film adaptation of the theatrical text written in the 19th century by Alfred Jarry, a tragicomedy that is still relevant today.
