Ilha da Murraceira
JOHNNY DEAD RADIO is a rock band, Ivo on guitar and vocals, Dany on drums, Nuno on bass and Jonny on guitar, are the driving forces behind this band from Figueira da Foz. The songs are original and portray the adventures of rock n’ roll. Their first studio recorded EP, “Hollywood”, was released in September 2019 on digital platforms, together with the first music video for the single “Dancing with Fire”. They are in the studio again preparing the release of their latest work, which will be out soon. In concerts is where you can feel all the energy of the rock n’ roll they do.
QUEEN’S GAMBIT
Queen’s Gambit emerges in the south bank of Figueira da Foz, in 2022, with the incessant desire to show that rock still has many cards to play.
The project meets rock and hard-rock and merges the distinct vision of musical styles of its members: Ruben Silva, José L. Pereira, Rui Maia, João Amaral and António Lebre.
Lyrically, the panoply of themes explored takes on both the characterization of everyday life and the contextualization of fracturing issues.
Above all, Queen’s Gambit wields the will to make good music and leave any stage where it passes, asking for more.
