Synopsis: By interweaving the more or less trivial life journeys of six different individuals who cross paths on a single day in Bucharest, Muresanu creates a tragicomedy about the Romanian revolution of 20 December 1989, which led to the end of Nicolae Ceau?escu’s communist dictatorship, which had been in place in the country since 1964. Filmed in 4:3, in shades of grey and from several different angles, the film transports the viewer into the oppressive and castrating atmosphere that overshadowed the country in those days and which nothing or no one foresaw could be undone and converted into freedom.
