The creation, ENSAIO SOBRE A CEGUEIRA (about blindness), inspired by José Saramago’s work with the same title, is the culmination of a choreographic experimentation journey around human behaviour in situations of crisis and violence.
The inner conflicts, fear, individualism as a natural way of existing, the ethical and moral questions associated with behaviour in society, list the behavioural nature of the performers. On stage, human nature is presented in a raw, unemotional way.
With a format close to an artistic installation, the creation presents an experimental language, both visually and in terms of the positioning of the body in the dance and in the scene.
