Finally the musical adventure of a lifetime has arrived in Portugal. Based on the DreamWorks animated film, “Madagascar, a Musical Adventure” tells the story of a group of inseparable friends who escape from New York’s Central Park Zoo and embark on an unexpected journey into the insane world of “Madagascar”.
Alex the Lion is the king of the urban jungle and the main attraction at New York’s Central Park Zoo. He and his best friends – Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe and Gloria the Hippo – have spent their entire lives in captivity, happy, in front of an admiring public and with regular meals. Not content with the life he had, Marty is overcome by curiosity and plans an escape, with the help of some prodigious penguins, to explore the world.
Filled with fun and adventurous characters, “Madagascar” leaves the audience with no choice but to “Move It, Move It!”.
