The Wednesdays with Map project began in 2017, with the purpose of making Orienteering known to Figueirenses, and through this sport, with a map in hand, rediscover the city. From 2019 we were inserted in the municipal project Sport for all.
Every Wednesday we meet at 7 pm, at a different point in the city, every week. We distribute a specific map of the modality that includes the area where the checkpoints are, and after a short briefing you can set off to discover the streets, gardens, nooks and crannies of our city.
If you don’t know the sport this is the right opportunity!
Alone or in a group, walking or jogging, everyone chooses the route they want and how they want to do it.

– Short (+/- 2.5 km)
– Medium (3.5 to 4Km)
– Long (5.5 to 6 Km)
– Extra Long (over 8Km)
– Mini (for small children when accompanied by parents +/-1K)
➡️There is no age limit or number of entries.
Registration is free, but MANDATORY, and you can do it until the Monday before the event. It is important to have enough maps and for insurance reasons. One registration per participant must be made, even if you want to do it in a group.
